Sadhu boards for the nail-standing practice of advanced difficulty level with a nail step of 12 mm (0.47 in), copper nails, and black color. Suitable for foot sizes up to size 40 EU inclusive. The set consists of two parts. When assembled, the nails are hidden in the opposite board. The body is made of eco-friendly plywood, coated with paint, and an additional layer of varnish for moisture protection.
The name of the boards comes from the Sanskrit root sādh, which means "to achieve a goal," "to make straight," or "to gain power over something." Sadhu boards are an effective tool for spiritual practice, strengthening the body and spirit, maintaining health, and realizing desires. By experiencing pain during practice, you discover the depths of yourself and strengthen your willpower. Ultimately, you can use the gained experience to achieve goals in everyday life, develop stress resistance, and maintain a vigorous spirit.
The board has nails of sufficient length for effective practice, ensuring compactness and lightness.
Copper as the material for the nails is significant for the practice. Copper is a low-reactivity metal that does not interact with solutions of alkalis, hydrochloric, and diluted sulfuric acids, and is widely used for high-quality food equipment. The advantage of copper in nail-standing practice is its bacteriostatic and antifungal effect. This is important for maintaining hygiene and board care. The only drawback of copper can be its price. However, the biggest advantage of copper is its high electrical conductivity, which is especially important for our boards with muscle stimulation.
The nails are arranged on the board in a hexagonal (hexagon) shape. This figure is also called the "flower of life" and ensures an even load on the sole. The distance between any neighboring nails is the same in all directions.
