CheckoutRules for safe practice on sadhu boards
Rule 1: Always close the boards immediately after practice
After finishing your practice on the Sadhu boards, it’s crucial to close or put them away right away. While standing, when your body weight is evenly distributed across all the nails, it’s safe. However, if you accidentally step on the edge of the board, you could injure yourself. Therefore, after practice, always take care of your safety and that of others by closing or storing the boards in a safe place.
Rule 2: Do not place the boards on wet or uneven surfaces
Placing the boards on wet, damp, or uneven surfaces can be hazardous. Such surfaces can cause the board to slip, leading to a loss of balance and potential injuries. Always use reliable, dry, and even surfaces for practice. To avoid damaging the decorative finish of the board and to enhance safety during practice, it is recommended to use a yoga mat.
Rule 3: Hold the board with your hand before stepping off
After finishing your practice, be cautious when stepping off the board. The board may stick to the soles of your feet, especially after extended practice. To avoid sudden movements that could cause a loss of balance or injury, hold the board with your hand as you slowly remove your foot from it. Step off the board gradually, lifting your foot from heel to toe, similar to how you take off your shoes.
